Kshetriya I's Fabric, Essence and Origin
The Kshetriya I is stretchable, and unapologetically soft. Ideal for warmer days or long walks between moments, it moves with you, never against.
In Hindu philosophy, the ‘stomach or navel’ is regarded as the source of life—the site
of creation and the seat of feminine energy. Covering it completely is not always
necessary; in fact, it is often seen as sacred to reveal. Thus the dramatic sharp cut ensures your navel area has a good circulation of air. Crafted with 95% polyester and 5% lycra, Kshetriya I is all about ease in
structure—firm enough to command shape, yet flexible enough to move when you
do. Polyester gives this set a luxurious, structured sheen while ensuring durability
and wrinkle resistance. Lycra, that hint of stretch, means the suit moves with your
body, not against it. Whether you’re sitting in a strategy meeting or walking into a
quiet revolution, you are comfortable, confident, and unrestricted.
The sleeves of Kshetriya I are where function meets quiet femininity. Instead of
stiff cuffs or unnecessary buttons, we chose to finish the sleeves with tailored fabric bows—delicate, yes, but deeply intentional. These aren’t just for show.
The adjustable ties allow you to pull your sleeves up with ease—to write, to
move, to carry, to hold. Whether you're typing out strategy, lifting coffee trays, holding
hands with a child, or gesturing with conviction—your outfit adapts to your day,
not the other way around. In many South Asian cultures, untying and tying is a
sacred gesture—from undoing bangles to draping sarees.
Kshetriya II's Fabric, Essence and Origin
The Kshetriya II features a removable cuffed in-built bra—a subtle nod to armour, but one that embraces rather than restricts. The angular tailoring and nipped-in waist structure
channel quiet authority, while the soft inner lining and light shoulder padding ensure
comfort in every movement. Same as Kshetriya I, the dramatic cut around navel area is to ensure a good circulation of air around the area as it is regarded in Hindu Culture to not cover the navel area completely. As for the material: this is crafted with a carefully balanced blend—60% rayon,
30% wool, and 10% textron. Each element was selected for a reason.
Rayon offers silk-like softness, giving it a graceful drape and gentle movement
with each step.
Wool provides breathability and structure, symbolising endurance and tradition—just
like the Himalayan fabrics passed from generation to generation.
And textron, a refined synthetic fibre, adds that modern resilience—wrinkle
resistance, ease of care, and a crisp finish that stays with you all day.
Together, these materials create a fabric that feels like a second skin—grounded,
forgiving, and tailored to move with intention. This isn’t fast fashion. This is fabric
chosen like memory: soft enough to hold you, strong enough to carry you forward.
